Blogging from NYC…

Yup, that’s right, I am writing to you from New York City. A Client flew me in this afternoon. She wants me to photograph her in a very Luxurious Hotel Suite tomorrow morning. She will be surprising her Husband with this gift for their 10 Year Wedding Anniversary. Hey, “If your gonna do something, do it Big”. Let me just start off by saying that this Client of mine has a slight resemblance to Samantha from Sex in the City. So I know she will photograph very well. I’m so excited, I will be going out to dinner in a little bit. I love this City. I actually lived here with my parents for a while when I was young. My husband has always told me about moving back here but I think I’ll keep calling Miami home for a bit more. =) I will be back in Miami after my shoot tomorrow. So……Miss Alexandra…….if you are reading this, I will be more than ready for your Shoot on Saturday. Wouldn’t miss it for the World!

Now, the real reason why I started this post. Since I started my business, I’ve gotten asked many, many questions pertaining to my life. It’s funny, I had really never thought that my life would be of interest to so many people, especially people I have never met before. I find it very sweet and endearing.

So I wanted to share with you the three most popular questions I get asked and give you an answer for each one.

Q) Do you shoot Weddings?

A) I am planning on offering Wedding Photography in the very near future. The Boudoir, Couple, and Family Photography keep me really busy and I also have an 18 month old baby that consumes the rest of my time. But as soon as I do start offering these Services, you’ll all be the first to know. I promise! ;)

Q) Why Boudoir Photography?

A) This is the easiest question to answer. I am very grateful for the passion I have for Photography. I have always had this passion but had never allowed myself to get enveloped in it until now. I believe every woman is sexy in their own way but don’t always get the opportunity to feel or look that way. I delight myself in reminding and revealing to all women just how gorgeous and sensual they can be. I consider this a passion of mine as well. That’s why when combined, it just works.

Q) What do you look like?

A) I actually get asked this alot. Lol! I haven’t posted pictures of myself on here yet so I guess this would be a good time to start.

Here is a recent picture I took of myself with my trusty Nikon Coolpix Camera as I was feeding my daughter dinner. I usually only photograph her with this camera because it’s very accessible and the date helps me keep track of her growth. So I apologize for the time stamp. No time to photo shop it off. =)

Sincerely,

Marilyn
